So much fun! I have a couple that I started wet felting right away...so I will only have "after" photos. :) I love the fact that I can buy raw wool, clean it, dye it, and then make a batt! The top blue locks were from a recent purchase of raw wool that I cleaned, and dyed yesterday. They dried overnight and now are a soft fluffy batt. There are wool hair balls all over the place now!
Kelly--You are AMAZING! Is your husband now questioning his decision to purchase the carder for you, since he never sees you anymore?!?! Giggle.
ReplyDeleteYour new batts are awesome and your dyeing is
well...to die for!! Hugs-
Girl you are too sweet! I think this was a peace offering from my hubby due to the fact that he seems to be glued to every hockey game on TV-I always say I am a hockey widow this time of year...lol
ReplyDeleteWow jealous you ! I love the purple batt. Wish my hubby the same as he also a couch on all TV sports.
ReplyDeleteKelly your batts are gorrrrgeous! Im hoping to get a drum carder before Christmas :)

it must be lovely to make something from the raw material through to a finished product. The colours are amazing.

Ooooh!! Love the batts. I only have hand carders and only good for small batches. Must look at the drum carders as they look like fun!! Are you going to sell any or just use yourself?
ReplyDeleteThanks all for the sweet comments!
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid selling would limit my fun time....maybe later but it's fun just playing right now!
