I made a felt panel with some very soft colored gray wool this morning. I wanted to get an idea of how much it would shrink so that I could use the wool to make some slippers. After it dried, I decided to use the test panel to make some heart ornaments for the tree. I like how simple they turned out...the next batch I will fill with the leftover lanvender that I ordered this past summer.
they will look lovely in the Christmastree!
ReplyDeletei love them! love, riet:)
love these! they are so cute and very scandinavian; blanket stitch is so useful. the xmas teacosies I am making are just plain grey felt too and i will stitch red and white gingham tree shapes onto them; love this colour scheme at this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much both of you!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! It makes sampling so much more fun when you can play with the results.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly,
ReplyDeleteLove how the hearts turned out! They look so warm. Just what we need right now (warm things) with the cold weather we are getting here in Florida! Brrrrr
Hugs
